(Senior) Management Accountant
Job Description
Key Role & Responsibilities
- Invoicing, collection of rents and other charges due from tenants.
- Initiating action for recovery of any arrears in conjunction with Landlord’s
- preferred lawyer.
- Continuous service charge budget tracking and reporting of any variations.
- Ensuring timely indexation of rents according to lease contracts
- Preparing an annual service charge budget.
- Year-end service charge reconciliations and charge-out to tenants.
- Monitoring of bank guarantees and deposits.
- Authorization and payment of suppliers invoices on behalf of the client (from
- funds supplied by the client).
- Tenant liaison and monitoring of tenant compliance with the lease obligations.
- Establishing a database of lease information and tracking key dates.
- General liaison with the client and attendance at regular meetings.
- Provide monthly financial statements of account (in a format to be agreed with
- Landlord) and quarterly reports to include updates on any Landlord and Tenant
- issues, operations management and changes in the local market generally.
- Corporate accounting.
- Cooperate with property managers.
Preferred Experience
- Administration of commercial property (offices, shopping centers) i.e. invoicing rent, service charges etc., repairs and maintenance/building services contracts, client reporting
- Understanding of commercial leases and service charge structures
- Lease administration, credit control, revenue and service charge budgeting/reconciliations
- Understanding of institutional investors requirements
- Language: Native Hungarian, Fluent English both written and oral
- Educational background: Relevant Colleague/University Degree
