Junior Data Analytics Consultant – Technology Consulting
Main tasks and responsibilities are:
- Participation in audit and advisory projects on field of data analytics and related activities Supporting internal and project related developments
- Understanding business requirements and logic
- Understanding codes and calculation logic on multiple platforms Preparing scripts and queries, automating standard processes Testing and processing data sets
- Supporting assessment and analyzing data flow between IT systems Reviewing data quality and issues
- Analyzing outputs of automated outputs, identifying potential deficiencies
Required professional background and skills:
- University or College degree in mathematics, statistics, information technology or business informatics
- At least 1-3 years experience in programming / software development / data mining / data warehousing / data science or related fields
- Solid knowledge of databases, SQL
- VB/C# or other programing languages Strong numeric and logical skills
- Precision
- Working independently on assigned tasks with coordination of senior colleagues Fluent English and Hungarian – both oral and written
- Professional attitude and appearance Excellent communication skills
Advantages:
- Experience with R or Python for data science
- Experience with robotic process automation projects
- Financial and/or accounting knowledge is highly preferred Financial modelling experience
- Big data or cloud solutions related experience
- Understanding data structures and processes of major ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, MS etc) and/or securities trading platforms
- OS and/or database administration knowledge (Oracle, MSSQL)
- Experience in IT auditing, risks & controls, security or infrastructure and maintenance Experience with .NET frontend/application development
- Experience or strong interest for IT software licensing is also highly welcome
